What's Love Got To Do With It?

Absolutely everything. Our marriage is built on the decision to choose Love every day. Simply feeling Love is not enough. If we based our marriage on feelings alone, it would be a chaotic mess full of fleeting emotions that do not last. There are struggles, we both get mad, we both get sad, and we disagree all the time. However, we always find our way back to the Truth of authentic Love built on a foundation of more than just feelings. When we decided to get married, our vows were a spiritual contract between both of us -- not just a sheet of paper. If marriage was simply a sheet of paper with two signatures, it would be easy to leave at the first sign of trouble and breach our commitment to one another because it would be based on worldly principles alone. So, Love, as a choice and a feeling combined, has everything to do with our marriage (it).
